We will be introducing our new Dogleg Levers for the GTS at Amerivespa. Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, they provide the same range of motion as the stock levers while reducing the reach.

Stop by our vendor table on Friday or Saturday.

Patrick, for those of us who aren't attending AmeriVespa, could you post some photos of your new levers here?

Doing all we can to have them available for amerivespa but here's a few quick shots.

Do they really reduce the reach? That would be great if they do for those of us with small hands.

Where the index finger rests is about 5mm closer than on the stock levers. Nice for small hands as well as for those that like to cover the breaks with two fingers while riding.

They will be available on our website after amerivespa.

These levers were designed to reduce fatigue while covering the brakes. They were prototyped for the 2006 cannonball so you could cover the brakes with 2 fingers without stretching so much, for hours.

An unintended benefit was that smaller hands reach them more easily.

They were engineered & produced by avid scooterists, for avid scooterists.

I would be very interested in a set ... if you made them for the LX as well.

Are they finished in the same manner as the Vespa brake levers? I would consider a set for my new Super when I get it in the next couple of weeks. How challenging is the install for those of us who dislike doing much in the way of work on our bikes.

Currently we are just giving them a satin bead blasted finish. They can be polished with a bit of work as shown in the top lever in the photo below. This took about 45min of work by hand. After we get production ramped up we will look at other finishes.

This first batch was rather small so we want to give people on Modern Vespa the first crack at them before opening things up on the website. So if you'd like a set drop us an email at:

Patrick, thanks for doing whatever you did to get those to me without my having to pay duty! I'm going to try to get them installed on my new Super this week, I can't wait to try them on for size.

The Dog Legs are on my new Super and I LOVE them. It makes grabbing the brakes so much easier, thanks Patrick, what a great idea.

I received a set of polished Dogleg Levers yesterday. Beautifully crafted with great looks. They are easier for me to cover with a full hand not just two fingers. A bit too cold in Chicago to give them a full workout. Think warm.

The LX lever "should" fit the ET4 but we have yet to verify it. I think we will be trying that out in May and I'll drop you a PM with the results.

Can anyone confirm these work with a GTV? I assume yes but wanted to double check before pulling the trigger!

We never had any that were "chromed" as chrome over aluminum is a bad idea. You can polish them with a little effort, starting with 400 grit sandpaper then 600 and finally ~1000 and some aluminum polish.

Do these still exist?
