so, first commute to work on my Vespa this morning
about 10 miles straight through town (Brussels)
nothing exra ordinary happened
I wasn't attacked by crazy cagers, I didn't have a 'crapped-my-pants' moment...
and I got to work 10 minutes sooner than usual
I could get used to this 8)
I have 2 meetings today in the city centre, curious how that will go...

Isn't it brilliant when you start configuring your work day around opportunities to ride your Vespa

it is!
& more, as my boss and associates do commute with big cars,
there is many times when they say:
"please thomas would go to pick this plans with your vespa" or "i wont be able to there in time, please go in my name"
one more point, they pay the gas, without knowing that with 20euros (more or less 20L here) i ride the week!

i love these surprises
they are happy, i am also, what else...

You made it!

I'm a daily commuter, myself and the morning and evening rush time is definitely a hectic time to ride.

Keep your eyes open and SCOOT HAPPY!

just came in from a round trip to the city center
had my first 'encounter' with a sleeping cager, but the horn woke him up (or was it my evil eye that I threw him? )
memo to self: Stebel is useless lying on the shelf, need to take time to install...
this trip takes me about 25min by car, just took under 10 minutes on the vespa Clown emoticon

too bad that I usually carry about 150kg of speakers, amplifiers etc in the boot of my car, so today is rather exceptional, but still enjoying it!!

It will get better and become more of a habit soon!
I have been commuting to work ( 5 + 5 miles) for the last 6 months now and enjoying the ride and getting very comforable with it. Initial 3 weeks of anxs are gone and started enjoying the ride, fresh burst of air thru my full face helmet vents. My route is set, where I have less traffic pattern, even can recognize a few cagers license plate who travel at the same. Have recognized my limit, and watched some free videos which have been referenced in this site from the MV community and learned from them on finer details. Having fun!. Soon you will too!! - Jay
