This may be nothing, but since you're all such a valuable resource it would be silly not to ask...
I've recently started taking my ET4 on the motorway and have noticed a strange wee thing it does at high speed - I'm concerned it might be a symptom of something sinister going on on the inside (you know: the engine-y bit).
I'll find myself cruising along at an indicated 50-odd, not far off full throttle, but still a good 10mph or so left in reserve if required. If I then wring out the last wee twist of throttle it often seems to hesitate for a **very brief** moment, seemingly slowing down the *tiniest* amount before delivering that last bit of power and accelerating as required.
I'm thinking this is either just one of those quirks different types of engine have, that it'll do it forever without any problems and I'll live with it no problem OR the whole thing is shortly going to seize up, perform some sort of terrifying acrobatic manoeuvre and spit me off into oblivion taking in a few other vehicles, the wheels of some huge truck, the crash barriers and a few gallons of the Clyde on the way.
Well, I'm not really expecting the latter, but stranger things would have happened. It does seem to run fine, and even this doesn't cause any problems but there's surely no harm in asking the opinions of those more experienced than myself.
Any thoughts? I'd very much appreciate them.
