I am looking for a windscreen for my Vespa ET4. Which online retailers should I consider? I haven't bought any accessories online before.

Also - I'm 6 feet tall. Would a medium windscreen be tall enough to deflect wind over my head? It's the wind on my head and hands that I most want to deal with.

Thanks,
Kevin

windshields
motorsport scooters is having a sale on some right now.

i'm 6 feet tall and i have a medium height for my gt and it works fine. a taller one would probably offer a little better protection.

check it:

Over your head? Get the tall.

Does anyone know what brand that midsize windscreen is? I tried emailing about it a couple of weeks ago, but no one ever got back to me.

Slightly off topic but what do you think to the side stand you have on your ET4 is it any good I've often thought about fitting one but don't think I would trust it. Thanks.

Side stand
The side stand is fantastic. Needs to be tightened about once or twice a year, but I love it. I use it 90% of the time, except when I'm on some kind of a hill.

i wouldn't trust it for parking up the scooter for long periods or overnight, especially if it's windy, or if you park on a slope or somewhere where it could be tipped easily, or if the ground is soft. they're really convenient for parking up in the short term though.

that said, my upstairs neighbour who keeps his scooter in our slightly sloping front garden has never had anything but a side stand and has never had an issue.

Thanks, Max. But I'm still confused ... you have two mid-size screens? Which one is in the picture on your site?

I'm Sorry. I was thinking of the LX-series. Here's the only midsize for the ET we have...

Sounds quite good I store my Vespa in a flat garage out of the wind overnight so it would be very useful for that. Thanks for your advice
