Motosport shipped OEM stuff real quick, I had today off and it wasn't raining.
Thanks to all the great tech data on this site, the job was easy. Taking my time it took about an hour and a half (maybe less). Main thing was remembering to catch the clutch bell as the cover came off, rest went like clockwork.
I don't ride much in town, so the case was amazingly clean, clutch bearing looked new, so just a little rubbing of the variator halves, roller ramps and inside of the clutch bell with Scotchbrite, then a quick shot of compressed air and she was ready to put together.
Rollers had plenty of coating left, but they were pretty scuffed with flat spots about 1/16" across. Belt looked great, but why take a chance?
Result? Smoother, quicker starts, fantastic throttle response, it even feels smoother. I had forgotten how nicely the scoot used to perform.

PS--I told my wife I was going out to rebuild my transmission. When I walked in an hour later she said "You're already done?" I told her it doesn't take long when your transmission is made up of a rubber band and some marbles.
It is, you know.
