Hey everyone!
I've been looking at different pictures to determine the best look for my scoot.
In the opinion of the masses, what is the best way to go with the spare tire mount?
Not just for looks, but also, safety and ease of use. Which way was it right of the assembly line, or was it an option?
Thanks all!

This is for smallframes, but there are similar for lardys. If you come across this one for smallies, let me know please.

I like the looks of each. Go with whatever you like, it's your scoot.

In side the legshield works real well. Easy to install and easy to remove the wheel needed. Plus if you can find one, the old GS spare tanks look great on them.

The one negative is that you'll have little less leg room.

Rear spare mount vs. legsheild mount
I like to see the the Curves of the back of my Vespa,
so I don't like the tire on the back.
I use the legshield mount.

I have to agree. the curves are "sexy"
The last two pics are my exact year model rear mounted. nice, but...
The first one though, wow! I just love the shape!
Now, to find how to do a legshield mount!
And music...I love your shots!

You can get either one from
Scooters Originali, or Scooterworks,
or anyone of the other Vintage Shops.

I'll most likely need to call the dealers and speak in person.
None of the online catalogs show it.
Any used ones for sale let me know.
I see on my center channel I do have the mounting threads.

BTW, the picture was from before my sanding and body fill on the rusty areas. (Pain in the butt job to get that stuff right, for a newbie!)

I really like the flat rear mounts like on a Lambretta. Looks damn good.
