During my cylinder kit research, I came across, for the first time, the easy to install Vespatronic and Parmakit CDI Ignition system which includes a choice of either 1.0kg, 1.6kg or 2.0kg lightwieght flywheel, backplate, coil, and regulator. What I like is that it turns the poorly and underpowered 05 PX150 ignition system, from an 80W into an 90W with a variable timing and duel spark. No longer a narrowly focus and linear single spark. This makes so much sense to me, because the program timing will automatically adjusts and match the advance or retard to the rpm; and the twin sparks on each revolution burns the waste gas still in the cylinder, thus improves efficiency and precision which will reduce pollution and improving performance. At low revs, the regulator has enough power to supply a clean, stable current which will provides longer life for bulbs and electrical; as a bonus, it has been advertised, probably not advisable, that the regulator can be used to battery charge out and even allow to run a PC or mobile phone. Hmmm, maybe heated grips. However, I have not found if there are any flywheel, besides the heavy 3 kg stock Vespa, that can be used for the e-start. Also,, it is expensive and I don't think you will get the most of it, unless your motor is at least kitted with a basic upgrade cylinder kit. I am hesitating with this purchase because it is an unknown, expensive and I am not satisfied with the owners/customer posted experiences feedback from other sites. But I do want it! Can any members please tell what you know about the Vespatronic or Parmakit CDI Ignition systems? Is it worth it? My basic criteria for these units is quality, lasting and must be reliable for day in and day out riding in all conditions.

OK, I am done

Thank you and best regards

Thanks and Good advice, I have been asking around and no one has any experience with these products. One Bro suggested that I ckeck out some of the UK forume. And Yeah your right, I forgot about one of my favourite rules," If ain't broken, don't fix it." But the advertise claims are so seductive...

Best regards
