Thinking I speak for my clubbies it was such a privilege to host Amerivespa 2009.
The big pieces were left to the major players from the VCOA but all the little stuff we really tried to think out and make like we wanted to see in a rally.
So many things fell in place for us....long rides with NO break downs(for the most part) and really skilled riders who took what we thru at them and kept the shiny bits up. With all the miles traveled by all the bikes only one ended up on the truck at the end of the day....WIN!!!!!
On personal note I would like to thank Mike Bobadilla and Lauren Bobadilla for the tireless work they put into this event...they were and are awesome....great people....so very happy to have them leading our team, they are a blessing. Josh Rogers of Scoot magazine worked his magic for us too...thanx Josh.
I got to spend time with people who are on the cutting edge of our community. From Ralf & Morris of SIP to Hot Rod AL to Tony of 226 I was grateful to share ideas and experiences with the revolutionaries of the community. What a rush. I learned alot, awesome!
As I sit here the most striking I will take from all of this is the realization that people came from great distances to party with us, celebrate with us our little scooter hobby, lifestyle, passion.
That rocks...it just does.
Great people....great times....If you ask for more you ask too much.
See you in San Antonio.
