High security Data Center, can't take pictures inside or out. They don't want pictures that could identify the buildings out on the net. All you could see in my picture was my scooter and a door.

I don't have a picture, but I park in a space that has a light pole in it, rendering it too small for a car. I'll be back at work next month, so I'll get a pic for future posts.

I'm on summer vacation so no work for me, and no picture of where I park. But since I'm off for 2 months do I really care
... yellowscoot wrote: ...Most scoots covered to avoid tickets. It's funny but cops are not allowed to touch it to look for a license plate. .... From what I've heard (from some NYPD folks) the "cops can't touch covers" thing is completely false. Cops can lift the cover to view the plate, most just choose not to. And it's technically illegal to obscure the plate, which is why high end covers have clear sections in the back designed to make the plate visible. |

Look at all this wide-open (8 spaces) of motorcycle only parking. When it's nice outside (between 78-82 degrees w/ no wind) the Harley riders even make it in . That's the only day it's been completely full.

The garage is typically empty at 8am when I get to work. I've chosen a location that gets good protection from any weather and provides me with a bit of exercise walking to the office. Unfortunately, our office will move this November and all parking is in an open lot.

Here's where I park my Scoot under the fire escape stairwell. It provides a little protection from the sun and rain. The black plastic bags aren't filled with garbage. They are sandbags we use during Hurricane season.

In the carpark on my campus. Right near an entrance and under the watchful eye of a security camera. One of the many places I park. The area has looked like a building site for over a year now, but it's starting to get better.

I'm pretty lucky...when I drive my car, I have to park outside in the uncovered lot but when I'm on the Vespa, I pull it up right in to this small garage and keep it out of the sightline of the street and nice and dry. There are three of us in my office with scooters and sometimes it gets crazy if we all ride but usually I'm here first in the morning so I get the prime spot!

Now that our company has new headquarters, they moved our parking right up front, added spaces, and have it clearly marked as "Motorcycle Parking". The best thing is, it's covered. I must say, however, that it was originally planned for handicap only. We had to protest en masse for them to remember us.

One of four designated MC/Scooter parking areas around the building. The guy in the GoldWing always makes it a point of parking as close to me as he can manage and always across the front of my scoot. I always make sure I have enough room to backup and get around him -- had to back the GTV up just to get it in the shot.
From what I have seen of the other parking areas, I am the only scooter -- plenty of Harleys, Indians and rice rockets to go around. ![]() South East parking area

Pretty easy to find parking, just have to wedge it in between two airplanes and two helicopters.

Here are a couple of my scoots from my ride to work, parked on a concrete pad along the side entrance to our building. I'm usually the only one there except on really nice days. Once it gets cold, no one else rides.
