Today my packet arrived. Laughing emoticon
Tomorrw and the rest of the week I'll try to fit this parts.
If anybody has a manual how to fit the bitubo -> you are welcome to post.
Anyway I can not test these beauties. It keeps on raining.
Hope the rest of MVs has better weather conditions than ours.

No manual, but I've done it and will be happy to help if I can.

It is fairly straightforward if you have a good set of sockets and extensions, with the exception of getting all the parts associated with reconnecting the top two mounting bolts aligned, especially since you need to reach awkwardly and blindly way up into the front mudguard to do it. Both ifixjets and I discovered independently that pre-gluing some of the parts together with "super glue" (instant cyanoacrylate glue) is the secret to keeping the parts aligned until you get the bolts through the holes.

You do need to remove the front wheel from the hub for better access, but you don't need to remove the hub or drop the fork. The upper two mounting bolts are very close to the shock, so it may be difficult getting the socket on the nut without nudging the shock body to one side a bit with a long screwdriver. Use the smallest-drive (therefore the most compact) sockets you can, and "wobble"-type extensions if you have them.

I installed mine without removing the front wheel and then after thought, "Man, if I had only removed the front wheel that would have been a breeze!"

dougl65 and i fitted mine in about 20 minutes - removing the front wheel makes all the difference. here's a couple of links that may help with fitting and adjusting.

GT/GTS Front Shock Change

Adjusting Bitubo shock?
Thanks for all posts an the perfect photo story. Finally Bitubo is in.
It was not easy because the screw of the brake caliper did not allow to mount the shock with the lower screws. Respect to genie and doug -> 20 mins. It took me 3 hours...
My photo story will follow tomorrow.
Now it's time for a shower and a cool beer and falling (after work, training and fitting bitubo) into bed.

cheers....

That's strange. I didn't have any clearance issues with mine on the LX.
