You can definitely get one cheaper. If you have the money and want to buy it buy it. If you don't wait for a cheaper option. Watch scoot.net.

Kind of rare to see something like that for sale here in the States..very cool scoot..but yes it's pricey..it is what it is. I think there is a 1985 in LA's Craigslist for 3500? red with chrome front fender and cowls I think..I dunno..don't want to buy a P series scoot for over 4k unless it's got some major goodies on it.

I'm no expert, but...that green looks like a metallic green, was that original? Black area of the horn cast? Black leg shield trim?

Like a store full of bathroom chrome??

just purchased a p 200 1980 for a lot less lets say a few thousand less and it run and look great :D

Keep Looking ! Just stay cash ready and don't be afraid to use U Ship. I had no problems using it and the bike was here in 24 hrs. For under $200.

The whole reason you buy a P (in my opinion) is because they are cheap. You can probably find a really good one for around $2,500. If you're looking to spend 4, well...make sure it can transform into a robot that gives you and your friends hand jobs.

It's definitely on the high end of the spectrum. But P200's can range from $1,500-$4,000 easily because there's a lot to consider...low original miles means a lot to some people. Paint means a lot to others...

I picked up both of my P's for less than $3,200 but....I'm dropping at least $1,000 worth of parts from SIP into one of them right now. Just something to consider.

I saw that one, but figured it had probably been "dealer restored", hence the insane price. Also, the demand down here is apparently nuts, particularly in Atlanta.
