Plan B- The Defamation of Strickland Banks

I just got like 5 records (45s) in the mail today.

1) This sounds like the Pioneers (reggae) singing for the Bay City Rollers (pop/Glam)

2) Dave Barker (credited as Dave Collins) doing a reggae cover of a Lee Dorsey R&B/Soul dance number

3) A big reggae want of mine for quite some time, sort of an "All-Star" collaboration.

4) A very expensive, and actually pretty mediocre reggae tune, it would be utterly forgotten if it wasn't titled "Skinheads are Wrecking the Town". I wouldn't have bought a "real" 1969 copy of this, but the new reissue saves me literally hundreds off that price.

5) Another fake copy of another expensive record, this time a great tune.

I've got this on Bullet, great tune.

I think orig. press UK Bullet 45 is the only way that "Copycats" exists. Never heard that Leena Leena before, nice tune. My favorite Stranger Cole might be this though, his unlikely cover of "These Eyes" by the Guess Who:

Circa 1984/85 Post punk. This was a "sell out' as defined on page 93, paragraph 2 of the Punk Rock Rule Book. It was decidedly not cool to like this when I was a wee lad skate rat... I still did anyway, and still do. Saw these guys at the International in Houston when they toured for the Airborne EP. They killed it. (Fuckstockings... I am an old bastaage.)

The return of 100 degree temps down here made me think of it...
