Did not see them posted, so I thought I would mention my favorite bands that is not one of the big three: Black Sabbath, Led, AC/DC
Sheavy. Sort of like Ozzy never left Black Sabbath, or maybe these were songs that did not make the cut. But they are still pretty good. My favorite song from them is "Tales from the Afterburner", the Youtube is pulled down or I would have linked it. It is the "sequel" to Black Sabbath's "Into the Void", which has the best guitar intro of all time, I think. The Demo that got them a record, along with "Destiny's Rainbow". First time I hear it, it was attributed to Ozzy. http://youtu.be/HJGBffXD4iY |

Digging some early Jesus & Mary Chain right now.
After catching up on this thread, I'm inspired to dig out some ESG & Sheavy. I have such an embarrassingly huge record collection that things just get lost & forgotten. Thanks for the reminders |

Saw Sabbath open for OZZY, Dio pussed out so they had Halford sing. He looked like Pinhead from Hellraiser, and started the set with "I'm from another band out of Birmingham you my have heard of... The Judas Priest". Crowd went apeshit and he ruled. I was in the pit filming... I don't think I got one steady shot... it was too good, impossible to concentrate. |

Yeah, I was still in school, but I went on tour w/ OZZY for ten dates, and took ten shows, ten cameras 35mm and edited a home video called Live and Loud for OZZY... it was my 1st real gig. Sooo f'in fun... those were the days.

My office manager bitching at me, telling me to stop effing with my scooters. I had to remind her I'm the owner of the company. And she proceeded to tell me I can be doing "work related stuff." Damn. She's right!
