They're playing here Tues.. I'm hoping to go.. Last time I saw 'em was in Detroit about 5 years ago.. I broke my heel.. actually cracked my heel bone jumping off the edge of the stage.. it wasn't all that exiting a jump (as I'm old! but I went for it and landed square on my heel.. I couldn't walk and had to crawl over to the opening in the row and have friends help me out and then drive me home.. I couldn't even press the gas pedal in my car. too old for that sh-t! But the music gets you going and then all bets are off!

Ah man they are a band I always check out when they are playing. First saw them when I was 15 and they play nearly every year in Dublin

Oh yeah.
I would put that track on and crank it to 11 when the folks were out... and it was their vinyl! And the last half was just.. unbeatable.

When I got into high school, a buddy got me tuned in to the Stones and I was hooked.. I had 48 Stones records.. my favorite was a Japanese import of "Got Live IF You Want It" and the middle part of the record had a naked man and the post on the turn table would poke right through his junk.. and the record came with a Tiny condom to slip over the post! Some strange Japanese stuff for sure.. but I've worn my skull ring a-la Keef for over 25 years now..

I'll change my tar in honor of the Stones for the day!

lol.. I used to scour the thrift shops to try and match his outfits from all the pics I had.. I went to London when I was 15 and brought back the 1st pair of red creepers and docs anyone in my high school had seen.. but before I got the red creepers (to match JR of course) the closest thing I could find were a pair of red, leather Sperry Topsiders! Baaahaaaa I tried!

The base on that track is awesome. Patchy album, but some stand-out tracks, and that's one of them!
