I miss the sounds of the 80's. Brings back a lot of memories. I can remember the day MTV aired for the first time when it actually played videos. Even if it was Video Killed the Radio Stars every hour.

I watched that very 1st premire on MTV.. we were all sitting there like it was the moon landing... And I really do love 80's "New Wave" music... it was those years that I got to be my own self.. whoever that was/is... instead of clinging to my older brothers' music... Although.. it was one of my brothers who introduced me to "punk" with a 45 of "I Believe" (Buzzcocks) Changed my life... I was transitioning from 9 years of Catholic school to public High School and there's a line in the track "I believe in the immaculate conception, and I believe in the resurrection" and when I heard that I figured they knew what I'd been through.. it really spoke to me and really made an impact on me!

I'm kinda a Steve Winwood freak and I love this clip. Its the oldest thing I can find of Clapton, Baker and Winwood.

New Black Sabbath "13". Dare I say it's one of the best Sabbath albums ever? I believe it is.

I just downlaoded the album.. at 1st listen there's no doubt that Tony I is behind all those riffs... no mistake there! but OZZY needs to sing in his upper register (oooohh! ) that's where his voice is strongest... too much "talk-singing" Gotta listen whole almbum a couple times...

Taking into consideration how long they've been around, and apart as core members(minus bill ward) while not perfect it still sounds to me like classic Black Sabbath. In my opinion better than a lot ofwhatvtheyve done over the years. That said, Dio was my favorite Sabbath vocalist, so Ozzie, while the original and definitive sabbath sound, was always a lesser singer in my opinion.

I'm enjoying the record.

its sit down music .... not like old sabbath that made me go a bit mad on the dancefloor .... bet the upcoming concerts will be lively

I remember that one bitsa. Good album. Loads of great guest vocals. This was my favourite off it

Ozzy has more sincerity and soul in his voice , yet Dio was technically better . I would put Ozzy in the same vien as Hendrix , Rotten , Rollins etc.... It just has that truth to it . It makes you feel more that the music was put around lyrics than someone trying to sing to a song .

Dyke and The Blazers. Not the best sound and picture quality but worth the effort. Try not to tap your foot.
