Just found this apparently little known recording of a 1975 BBC performance featuring a younger Roy Orbison, 13 years before A Black and White Night. The audio & video are very high quality, even acceptable by today's standards I think.
Funny thing is here he looks a little like a 3rd rate Elvis impersonator fail, check his Vegas style outfit. But that voice, there's no one else sounds like that...
