Nice one Claude, I saw, and taped, the mighty Karp many times. Scott, the drummer, died a number of years ago. Sad accident that. The drummer you are referring to was previously in The Murder City Devils.

Speaking of nostalgia:

Terrible Ted Nugent and his Ten Fingers of Doom! he's rad.. I saw him play in Detroit and he fired a flaming arrow over the audience into a target or something.. couldn't see where it went.. lol. No drugs just HIGH on being Ted!

Olympia!!! I did not know that. I thought it was the same drummer. Shitty! Never saw them play. Back then it was word of mouth, cd's and tapes.
Hello from the pacific northwest. Olympia was a hot bed of punk rock back in the day, maybe still is.

Shame the Melvins show was a letdown. Two drummers rarely works. Trail of Dead toured with two drummers and it was a pointless exercise. Now two bassists... there can never be too many bassist.

I will if I'm here. I feel like a ship in the night with many shows here or Europe. Saw Robyn last year in Chapel Hill NC for a Yep Roc concert (15 or 10 year birthday?). He was great as always, and even managed to get a couple of signed gig posters by he and Dave Alvin, i was excited to meet Robyn, my wife lost her mind to meet Dave Alvin! When is he over here?

Checked R.H.'s site and it was last week. Bugger missed it.

Damn. I would have enjoyed seeing him here too. Sigh
