I recently discovered Amyl & the Sniffers debut album, and can't stop listening.

I've had Everyone else is an asshole by Reel Big Fish stuck in my head all weekend.

Not sure what that says about me, but hopefully just that I've been listening to too much RBF, if that's even possible.

They would always come to Chicago on the Warped Tour, which had an insane exclusion zone, something like "no shows within 9 months or 500 miles of a warped show," so that was usually the only chance, and that was just too much work for me to get there and have to pay $100+ for a ticket for the day.

Hopefully that'll change so I can actually see them downtown in a proper venue again

With the new album (and I think the warped tour is over now, right? ) That should change, at least I would think so.... btw, been singing that song in my head this whole time lol. It's just so happy for a song about everyone else being assholes 🎶 lol 😆 actually, I cannot wait to see the suicide machines again, those guys are amazing!

Yeah, Warped is finally done, so that stranglehold on good music without having to deal with a festival 40 miles SW of Chicago is finally over. I'm looking forward to having a steady flow of good bands in reasonable locations again.

It's been amazing out west. Hope you also get to enjoy it!
