I always regret not seeing him live. Missed opprtunities and too many "next times". *sigh*

Such a talent. This guitar piece is so good.

Probably my favorite JTE song. Thanks for reminding me.

I remember an interview with the band talking about never selling out and artistic integrity. And then they performed "Eloise" live with an orchestra.

Still love them.

I'm actually listening to the exact opposite this morning. Brian Eno's "Ambient 1 :" Music for Airports"

According to what Spotify told me mostly Chumbawumba and IRA folk music…

Sturgill Simpson's Scooter Blues is pretty awesome.

Uncle Joe. Hard to believe he's been gone 20+ years.

This vid was filmed over 2 nights at the Troubadour in Los Angles during a 4 or 5 day run of sold out shows. I was lucky enough to be there, down the front, for one of those nights.

Found this band a few weeks ago.

They're a musical journey. This song sounds like Ministry hanging out with Kate Bush and some 80's synth pop people. Rest of the record is just as varied as this song.

Don't listen to this.
Only posting it as it has magic powers, and has what (to me) sounds like a 2 stroke taking off at two moments to a crescendo.
So Vespa-related Razz emoticon

From experience, playing it just up to ad nauseam while your significant other (who holds the purse strings) can also hear it, allows one to purchase more scoots than you should.
It's science.

To fit my mood this weekend.

Teddy Thompson fans might recognize him in the background. Pretty awesome CD, though it weirdly took me months to be impressed. And now it's in my top 10. Would have never guessed it's a Dylan tune, but then again I stopped following him decades ago....
