Modern Vespa

Wife, son, and I went on a short ride this evening. Finally got a pic of her on her new scoot.

Yay! I am all for more girl riders!! I can so sympathize with the learning at your own pace thing - I keep posting about it. If you feel up to it the next time we go riding in North Carolina please join us! The guys I'm riding with are all super nice.

I love her logger boots! Nice high heel. Are they Red Wings?

Actually, she bought those boots at a local Tractor Supply store back in the fall. I'm not sure what brand they are, but they do offer good ankle protection. I'm not sure if they have any toe protection. She has a birthday coming up, so she will probably see some riding boots with better protection in her future.

How about some armored pants? Then you'll have the whole enchilada.

Great choice of mp3. Seems like she fits perfectly on it.

She has some armored overpants that she wears over he jeans. Would like to find her some mesh overpants that would not be as hot during the warmer months.

She likes riding the scoot. She does well until she gets nervous, then she loses some of her focus, but she is getting better at staying relaxed.
