These are full size.

I like mine so far, though they did take a few to get used to primarily because of the goofy way I cover the rear brake.

I have the Dog Leg Levers, and I use only two fingers on them to brake. The shortest part of the grip for the levers is for the index and middle fingers. I leave the ring and baby fingers on the grip. I am very very happy with these.

Hey, are these full-grip levers? Or are they shorties, like dirt-bike levers? I'm rather fond of two or three-fingering my brakes, and love swapping in shorties so that I can have at least one or two digits wrapped around the throttle. Either shorties or levers that dog-leg in mid-grip (not that I've ever seen those in my life) are my preferred levers.

So...are these shorties?
They are shorter than the stock levers but there's enough room for the average hand to still grab with all fingers. If you have large hands they may be a little cramped trying to fit all four fingers on there but then, with large hands you are more likely to just use two fingers on the levers.

Here's a shot with a ruler for reference.

Okay, I FINALLY got around to ordering a set. Ever since the polished levers came out, I've been coveting them. Of course, this will just go into my pile o' stuff to do to my scooter if I ever get any time off... But now I have a date! December 13th, I'll finally be installing these and my Stebel Nautilus!

It takes ~1.5 mins to install them once the headset plastic is off. It'll be a snap.

Installed yesterday on brother's GT 200...

Easy install once you remove the headset cover. Ergonomically designed to work for those who may be challenged and rely on a less than full finger pull...affords more leverage on lever pull.

Are the levers for the LX available for order yet? Someone with an LX asked me about that yesterday and I didn't know the answer.

Just ordered a pair of the black powder coated ones for Yukihime (the GTS). Will love to see some available in the future for BleuBelle (the LX150).

Thanks for that. Yes, I like having the shorter varieties, because if I actually do brake hard, and I have the back two fingers wrapped around the throttle, the fingers actually get in the way of the full travel of the lever....especially if they're dog-legged.

The LX levers are in the works but no firm date yet. The design is done, fit and feel checked with a plastic prototype, but we still have to get the manufacturing steps down.

Don't worry, I'll change the banner or something when they are ready.

love'em
old thread but that's how i learned about these awesome levers!

rainy day in los angeles so i had time to put them on. 1st time taking the headset cover off. not too difficult following directions here.

only difficulty was i lost/dropped the front center headset cover bolt -- hope it doesn't cause any damage bouncing around in there. and the headset cover is secure enough with the rear left and right screws. and i hope the screw just turns up on the floor of the garage at some point.

i also learned that the part of the top case below the left brake fluid/mirror cover where the screw goes is cracked so i can't secure it tightly - that screw could pop out pretty much any time soon. from what i've read here it's a common issue.

dog leg levers themselves are great. ordering was easy and great service/updates. easy substitution and they feel great.

i feel much safer riding around with the brakes within easy reach.
