Great Looking Job.
I'm starting a rebuild of a PK125 I've had in bits for a couple of years. Bodywork was in good condition and was blasted and painted a while back. Problem is it's so long since I dismantled it I've forgotten where half the bits fit back on! Think I'll be spending a fair bit of time on this site asking questions. Did you manage to get the spare wheel holder as I need to find one too? Chris. |

Here is my project i did this year, unfortunatly i didnt take any pics but i do have some of the finished piece.
Still waiting for some parts... 2x chrome wheel rims stainless steel flywheel cover Rear PX flat rack (will adapt it to fit) Chrome toolbox lock whip aerial - white flag for aerial clear indicator lense sprint rear light (so i can fit my rear rack, pk one takes up too much room, unless i move my plate down and then move the light down) chrome headlamp grill Blue tint for flyscreen blue PK sticker for flyscreen think that is about it but i am sure i will buy more haha Sorry for the poor picture quality |

PK125 Automatica
I have a 125 Automatica which i believe to be the only one in the Southern hemisphere. if anyone can contradict that then let's hear from you. Spares are difficult, some from SIP and i've just bought an entire engine from Ebay Italy. Tell me more about other experiences. Bryan G.

I have a PK50 also
I would like to restore it as well as you did. The original color is red, but I sent it to be piant they didn't do a great job unfortunately, now because I couldn't use it for a while it didn't want to start no more, so I took it to the shop again for them to fix that they told me that now I had to push it or something in order for it to start the engine, well thats not the only problem, all the needed parts are not easy to find, and this is what I wanted to ask you where did you get the tail light? or the head light and the wireing and everything that has to do with electricity.? If you can write me back I would appreciate it a lot : ) thank you.

in response to the original post, the lambretta horncast grill wont fit without extensive modification. its too long and the each frame's respective bend is different, so a lammy is bent out too far.

Hi,
i'm looking for the same fender and horncast for a pk125s project. Where do you buy them? Are they fit for pk? or need modification? thanks |

Fender is from model V50, you should adjust holes to fit the fender to fork.
I bought the horncast here http://www.pimp-your-vespa.de/products.htm |

Help with PK Project please!
Hi all!
Firstly, i found the blue PK50 earlier on google when looking if anyone else had put a old horn casting onto the PK... and loved your result! Any advice on how to get it!? Also, congratulations on such a great job, the paint work looks amazing! So, i was kindly donated a PK frame with tool box that had already been adapted to take a Large frame engine. After having a moded up PX, i thought i'd use the chance to own a street racer type scooter with all the smooth looks but whilst keeping the frame as standard as possible looking. Just wondering what forks you used? I was looking at Vespa PK50 ones (as the frame is the same as yours) but they say they have to have a V50 mud guard like you appear to have, just wondering if this was the case for you? Also, any recommendations you picked up whilst building yours? Thanks! Matt. Young mods *A Way Of Life* Find us on Facebook! |
