A Piaggio LT 150 with new belt, 6000 miles. A Scarabeo 150 (rotax) with 2500 -- not ridden so much. Or a new Scarabeo 200 with warranty for a bunch more money but it's money I could spend on a few/several major repairs to a used scooter.

Pros/cons? I'll do 2000 mi/year, so it'll build up anyway.

If the used scoots have a full service history with receipts then you can save a bunch of $$$. Personally I would never but a new vehicle of any kind. The minute you sign the papers it becomes second hand. It is like taking a fist full of dollar bills and flushing them down the dunny. Let someone else take the hit, it may take a while to find the same scoot with low KMs and good record keeping but they are out there.
Good luck with your decision.
