My brother and I were the third generation. He was an electronics technician on subs and I was a snipe (engineering department) on surface ships. Actually my son woould have preferred to fly in the navy like his wife but although promised flight school he could not be promised what he would fly. Getting accepted to a guard unit he knew what he would fly (F-16s) the day he signed up. His wife finished the top of her flight training class so got her pick of planes, F-18. I of course take her side in interservice arguments of who is best, but am really proud of both of them.
