Modern Vespa

Hey kids, I'm checking in here to let you know about our "Vintage Scooter Rally". Our raffle this year will feature a choice between 2 vintage bikes, a Vespa or a Lambretta, and a RB kit which the winner can choose the RB 20 or RB 22. There will be more Vintage bikes in one place than any other rally especially if YOU make it. Make sure to pack your Bomber jackets and Parkas!

THURSDAY AUG. 6TH

9pm
We open our rally at The Riptide, 3639 Taraval St SF 94116 (415) 681-8433, where local scooterists will be spinning tunes as you enjoy a neighborhood bar in "the Sunset."
FRIDAY AUG. 7TH

8pm
Join us at the Orbit Room, 1900 Market St. SF 94102 415-252-9525, for a 9pm night ride to the Edinburgh Castle 950 Geary St. SF. 415.885.4074. While at the Castle, why not pick up one of the limited edition SF Classic t-shirts and some raffle tickets. Wear your shirt on the baby powdered dance floor as you enjoy tunes from Black Sheep DJ's Dion, Rick and Jimbo.
SATURDAY AUG. 8TH

Meet at San Francisco Scooter Center 127 10th St SF (415) 558-9854
10am
"UK's Fast ride to Bolinas" leaves at 10:30am. Note: this is a speed run along a curvy coastal route so make sure your bike is in top mechanical shape!

11am
The main group ride leaves at 12pm for a ride around SF highlights.

2pm
The ride arrives at The DNA Lounge, 375 11th St. SF (415) 626-1409 for a scooter custom show showcasing the West Coast's best bikes! This year the "Classic" raffle has a twist. The winner of the main prize has a choice of

A. a P125 complete and running, or
B. a "soulful" 1961 series 2 LI 125 kit ready for assembly

Your ears and eyes will be treated to musical entertainment from The Lewd, while you drink at the bar or order food from the kitchen. The show ends at 5pm.

8pm
Big Tony's night ride meets at SFSC for a 9pm City Lights tour ending at the "Concrete Jungle" at The Knockout, 3223 Mission St SF 94110 (415) 550-6994. We'll have the best of Two Tone, Rocksteady and 80's dance music to get your groove on.

SUN. AUG.9TH

11am
Meet at Café Vega, 1246 Folsom SF (south of Market). Enjoy some strong coffee served up by longtime SF scooterists John Quintos and and Kirk Harper, leave at 12pm for Dukes "So long San Francisco" ride toBarry and Deena's awesome BBQ in the park!

You don't want to miss the dodge ball tournament so start getting your teams together.

Cool, I'm conveniently moving to San Diego the week before; however, I'm considering riding up for the occasion. Looks like fun..

Well, I hope you do come back up for it. I lived in Ocean Beach for 3 years. I loved it. Where will you be?

There seems to be a lot of traffic here but not much interest in a Vintage only rally.

I wouldn't say that. I'd go if i was anywhere nearby...

there's a lot of posters here in So Cal, and i'm sure they'll be there.
