Was talking to a powder coater today at work (local phone company BTW) and after I mentioned to him I had a scooter and was looking for some podwer coating (wheels, maybe flywheel) he mentioned that he now has red chrome! Anyone have any examples? Would love to ditch the check stripe for some red chrome trim and rally style stripes.

thats why i said i am confused for all i know a turbo for vespa have a pipe lead to exhaust but this one is dont so it come to my attention is it a turbocharger that run with engine rev and that cylinder is bolt for high compresion just like a vespa engine i saw that using NOS aarggg its confusing and still i didnt know how fast that engine can go.. but i also wonder does its a hybrid

Guys...look at the cases... it's still clearly a P200 engine ( or some variant )

It's got a water cooled top-end ...hence the lack of fins.

He's got that alternator bolted on top of the engine, and it's powered by a pulley hooked up to a custom CNC milled looking flywheel ... it doesn't have the usual fins you're used to seeing because the engine is water cooled, so it doesn't need them. So, under that pulley is probably the same old stator / magnet system you're used to seeing.

He's got a big carb mounted backward behind the alternator on a manifold.

The amount of money in chroming this thing i bet was really substantial.
