Ok folks
Besides the Leo Vince pipe that looks like a WW2 torpedo, what aftermarket exhaust systems are available for the new Vespa GTS300?
Post links or pics, I want to see what is out there.

PM68 from PM-tuning adds 2 hp
www.pmtuning.co.uk https://www.pmtuning.co.uk/index2.htm I have one mounted on a black 300. Looks great. Its not a quiet pipe. It makes the 300 sound like a Ducati. Mine sounds exactly like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s_d4yu8lHc&feature=related |

Is it worth it for the two extra horsepower ?
Are you happy with the PM Tuning pipe or would you choose one of the others? |

Its difficult to answer.
I like the 2 hp extra power. I also like people to turn their heads. With the pm-exhaust the 300 is no longer a clean, subtle and quiet vehicle. The change of sound is dramatic. The line between super cool sound and super stupid sound is very close and the PM is a border line. If you think its ridiculous or not, is very personal. I think its stupid, but I enjoy it. Sometimes I am embarassed about the sound and sometimes I love it. Specially when gliders turn their heads and have that look on their face "What the f is that?" I have the same mixed feelings about the exhaust backfireing. Totally cool sound but totally not Vespa 2010. |

Does anyone here have the LV pipe on their 300 yet? I don't recall reading anyone posting that they do. Once I get my 300 I'm putting my old LV pipe on it, I'm wondering if it will be louder than on my current 250. The reason I wonder that is because the stock pipe on the 300 is already louder than the stock on the 250.

The 250 and 300 stock exhaust is identical apart from the 300 has a tack welded chrome trim added, turn the exhaust over and look at the manufacturing code on the silencer itself... both are identical.
Any difference in noise, is purely engine related, not exhaust. |

Yes I suspected that but wasn't clear in my post. I wonder how my new 300 with the LV will sound because I think the difference in sound between the stock 300 and 250 is because of the different engine.

for any Vespa I think the PM tuning exhausts are the bees kneess in terms of looks wise. I like the scorpions and many others but PM have got it designed to a T.
cone shape gives it that ooohhhhhh factor lol |

UPS just delivered me a Giannelli pipe for my GTS. I'll be mounting it and reporting on it this weekend. There's not much info on them or people using them yet. It appears to be a well-made. Stay tuned...
