I'm fitting an indicator buzzer to my new GTS 125 Super, one which is silenced whilst the brakes are applied, like at a red light.

It will be fitted using the alarm connector in the LH kneepad, but does anyone know the easiest place to pick up the positive (switched) feed from the brake light? It can be from either brake, but I'd rather avoid removing the cowling if at all possible.

TIA

At the switches at each brake lever hingepoint inside the headset. That's where I tapped in when I installed an Audicator on my LX. I was able to do all the wiring and the mounting of the device inside the headset.

Thanks Dave, that's what I was hoping to avoid. I wondered if there's a feed on the GTS version that I can access via the kneepads or glovebox.

Don't know for sure on the GTS, but I'd wager the switched leads for the brake lights are bundled tightly into the wiring harness where they pass through that area. Despite the slightly easier access to the power source behind the kneepads on the GTS, you may want to consider doing the whole installation in the headset, especially since you are likely to have to open it up to run leads up there to the switches anyway. Breaking into the wiring bundle could be dicey.

Thanks Dave, I'll take a look at it if it ever stops raining here!
