anyone else have a stand rattle when riding ? mine is driving me crazy!

makes me want to take a can of spray foam and cover the whole thing!
and while I'm ranting..... Every Vespa should come with a gallon of loctite - my gts just sheds bolts, screws, exhaust backends, all the way down the highway...hell my seat would have come off if my fat lazy ass didn't hold it down!

My stand doesn't rattle, although my rollers do.

I've never lost a bolt, nut, or screw while riding. At the dealer, yes, but not while riding. Ever.

nor have i in fact i don't recall anyone on this forum ever complaining about the loss of more than a single screw or bolt whilst riding. oh, and the occasional exhaust baffle.

i'd be having words with the dealership that prepped it if i were you.

funny you mention dealer - I was missing a bolt and I know the dealer left it off when they installed zippies on my scooter. I do a full check now every time I leave the service bay. Maybe it's my rollers doing that too, I assumed it was my stand...

Ive had the seat latch screws rattle off once. found them sitting on the engine, thank god.

After a recent experience with a dealer Id check everything. Unless your sitting thier and watching like I do with my current kick ass mechanic.

Starting to think that roller-rattling is a natural state for the GT/GTS series...
Got a slight bit less than 3K on my '07 GT200, and the rollers been rattling for at least 1/2 that mileage...!

But I've not had anything else at all come loose or rattle.
(Not so far, anyway?)
so if I were you I'd pull a lot of those screws and re-torque'em down tight with a coating of BLUE Loctite!
(And maybe get another dealer for servicing purposes?)

Just how fat are you? Maybe your weight alone is thrashing your ride.

You must have gotten one of those "Friday Afternoon" bikes.

Nothing on my GTS rattles. The only parts I've lost are parts I removed myself and then, um, lost.

Sorry about your troubles.
