Modern Vespa

Meet at Kensington Cafe (4141 Adams Ave) Ride leaves at 11am. We will end up at 2965 Decatur Rd. San Diego, CA 92133 to check out 100 corvettes on display (free event*). This ride will start from Kensington and will go through National City and Chula Vista via surface streets and then to the Silver Strand. We will get on the Coronado Bay Bridge to get back into town. 150+cc recommended but 125cc ok so long as can ride comfortably at 50mph on the strand. See you this Sunday!

* This is a 2-day even (Saturday & Sunday) and there will be face painters and balloon makers for the kids. The ShamRockers, Lady Dottie & the Diamonds and HELP! A Beatles Tribute Band will perform during the weekend.

Great ride yesterday! Thanks to the 20+ scoots that came out, and the awesome blockers! When I lead, I can't exactly block, so kudos to you folks! And thanks to the Fanatics and the Pharaohs that came out!

that was a great turnout yesterday and wow! What a great route you took us on. Just a gorgeous day for a ride!

I like that route much better than what we've been doing. This way, we all got through the not-so-highly-desirable areas first and the reward was the Silver Strand AND the Coronado Bay Bridge. The views are much better northbound CA-75 and the bridge anyway.
