I saw a pink 150S at calmoto (Mountain View, CA dealer) yesterday.

They had a pink battery tender on the seat that I think they were going to package with it.

I saw one pink LX yesterday here in Berlin, Germany. Two girly Berlinerinnen on it. Well, not really my colour...

I'd say most dealerships have them now. They are waaaaay too pink IMHO. But I'm sure someone must like that colour.

Yeah, I saw one in Vespa Soho the other day. It made my teeth hurt.

It is the colour of Pepto Bismal except that it is metallic.

I like it! I'd drive it...if I was a girl and no, I can't justify buying another scooter just for those rare moments of transvestism

Well, it's not quite the right shade of pink, sort of more "Barbie Pink" than "breast cancer ribbon" pink, and matte to boot.

Now a metallic sparkly pink GTS250 or 300, yeah, I'd plunk some cash down for that baby! It would certainly get me attention on the road.
But this one has me looking for the 'dream house' that it belongs with.

Nope, I am sticking with BleuBelle, she's a way hotter Vespa babe.

Not a fan of the pink and I (co) own a pink scooter (Buddy). The shade is a little too dark and saturated-should either be paler or brighter. Whatever.

I do like some of the new accents on the LXs, in particular the new handgrips. May need to score some of those, a fender crest and a transmission case with no hole for a kickstarter.

I dig the white seats on the LX Rosas. Will mod my plum in similar fashion and planning to paint some black rubbers white using whitewall tire paint. Watch this space!

As someone who has a scoot with a white seat (our pink Genuine Buddy, or PGO Ligero as you may know it), I have to say they're a pain in the ass to keep clean. Be sure to wash a new pair of jeans a couple times before wearing them on a ride.

Handy for the ladies, get a scratch and you can touch it up with a lipstick!!

On the other hand, if they don't sell very well in your area, the possibility of a decent discount might make them more attractive. Might even be enough to pay for a repaint. It would depend on the dealer and how much he wanted to find it a home.

When I bought my LX, I inquired if they had any yellow ones on order. The answer was NFW would they EVER order a yellow Vespa. I don't think they would go for pink, either.

So if your dealer had a pink one shoved down his pet carrier, he might be willing to just blow it out the door.

One time built... once they are sold... that is it.
As a matter of fact, the factory is already sold out of the LX 50!
Sold 3 myself and have only a few more coming in.
Top cases are slowly coming in for them, but if the dealer did not already order them, it will be difficult getting more!

No one, except Baby Spice or whatever her name was, would wear that awful shade of bubblegum pink on their lips without looking like a complete idiot.

It went out with the '60's for a reason.
