I got sucked into buying a 2 for 3quid Tesco Quiches... Cheessy Bacon & something....

I regret it now... to be honest it was a load of crap!

we had fresh salad grown in the roof garden, plus some of our lovely cherry tomatoes grown in the patio, with sliced mozzarella cheese, slivered courgettes, and some thinly sliced rounds of organic radish. i should write menus for a living

i promise to be good. i'm registered with Westmonster pay by phone parking so there shouldn't be any fines to pay, and i'll try and drive inoffensively. and i can even keep the Shitty under cover at night so it doesn't hurt the neighbours' eyes now the only thing to find out is how much my insurance company is going to charge me .... watch this space

There's a good chance that I'll be in Brighton on the 30th then back there on the 31st but I'm going to make for Carluccios for around 10 am so Pepy,Marc,Genie,Jim and Christos can all find me there.
It's just up from the Brighton Dome on the right.

I don't think you have to tell them you're the owner, just the keeper.

There's no need to mention ownership. Just say you are the keeper. If something has to be done under insurance then get Doug to send off the V5 immediately. You can't be blamed for his tardiness!

Whatever you do, read those insurance terms with a fine eye and don't say anything on the phone that you know to be "incorrect". These things do have a tendency to bite you in the arse otherwise.

Don't warrant you are the owner if you are not (you'll likely be asked at the time of taking out the policy).

The sin of omission is a lesser sin than the sin of commission, but lesser sins still allow insurance companies not to pay out on a regular basis.

Hoping to take the scoot, but will need a CAR pass. Each student's reasons for wanting their car are assesed. Fortunately my football league spans the area between Farnborough, Newport Pagnel, tonbridge and the spit coast. Therefore I need the bike to earn cash... hopefully they see my point

They'd better take into account that your scooter is smaller than a car! Can it not just go in the bike racks? That's what I did with my beloved 80cc Suzuki at university.

The GP800 is still with Walton Road Garage. Their 'new' Navigator diagnostic unit was registered to another dealer - so back it went. The next one was actually new, and needed to be registered with Piaggio Italy - but the chap who registers them is - guess what - on holiday! So tomorrow the GP is being taken by WRG to CBS Whitton who have also bitten the bullet and and now have a working Navigator system. This is good news as far as I'm concerned - it means more lateral thinkers can work on the GP's stalling issue.

As an aside for those with GP800's - change the rollers at 6,000 miles, not the 12,000 as per the manual. Mine were severely worn, I'm glad I ordered them up early just in case!

i agree. it sounds to me like you're being dealt with by one of those brainless institutional functionaries who love saying 'no' and make up all sorts of crap just to make other people's lives complicated. just go ahead and park your scooter in a nice unobtrusive section of the bicycle parking area. several of us park our motorcycles or scooters right out front of the main reception area at the campus where i work out in harrow, and nobody's ever said a thing.
