Sainsburys is closed
Sorry I've been quite for a while but I havn't had much to say.
My only news is that I'm keeping the Hornet well into 2010 and I've traded the Fox and bought a new Ford Ka which has been held for me for the past 2 months while I wasted my time with the Autotrader,Gumtree and Ebay. Kam you can't go wrong with a second hand Saab. Genie I'm waiting with baited breath until the Interloper's paintjob is finished. Will you be showing it at the Pilot on the 11th of October ? Is anyone out there coming down to Spiders on the 27th of September ? Bill X Oh I saw a black Pug today and made an "awww" sound inside my helmet. |

Good to see you back Bill, I was starting to get worried.
Could anyone email me an image of the Donkei Skok Scooter Club logo? I want to print one out for the other half to use to make a cake. (yes I am aware it is a silly to have a Skok cake but if nothing else it will be a good excuse to eat lots of cake ) |

Ahhhhh, four pages of Donk is just what I needed to cushion the blow of being back at work
Lovely hol. Beautiful half-timbered gite with hot and cold running goats. Bread, cheese and cider every day and some nice gentle pottering around the area. A few touristy activities (D-Day museums and Monet's garden). Mostly, though, just excellent unwinding, without the frantic pace and 300-mile slogs to the next night's hotel that usually accompany my motorcycling holidays (those are fun too, but it was good to have a change). So, will the cake be coming to the Pilot on Oct 11th? |

on the subject of wool..........
A Welsh man buys several sheep, hoping to breed them for wool. After several weeks, he notices that none of the sheep are getting pregnant, and phones a vet for help. The vet tells him that he should try artificial insemination. The farmer doesn't have the slightest idea what this means but, not wanting to display his ignorance, only asks the vet how he will know when the sheep are pregnant. The vet tells him that they will stop standing around and instead will lie down and wallow in grass when they are pregnant.. The man hangs up and gives it some thought. He comes to the conclusion that artificial insemination means he has to impregnate the sheep himself. So, he loads the sheep into his Land Rover, drives them out into the woods, has sex with them all, brings them back, and goes to bed.. Next morning, he wakes and looks out at the sheep. Seeing that they are all still standing around, he deduces that the first try didn't take, and loads them in the Land Rover again. He drives them out to the woods, bangs each sheep twice for good measure, brings them back, and goes to bed exhausted. Next morning, he wakes to find the sheep still just standing round. Try again. he tells himself, and proceeds to load them up, and drive them out to the woods. He spends all day shagging the sheep and upon returning home, falls listlessly into bed. The next morning, he cannot even raise himself from the bed to look out of the window. He asks his wife to look, and tell him if the sheep are lying in the grass. No, she says, they're all in the Land Rover, and one of them is beeping the horn. |

Congratulations BB, you look delighted (quite right too).
Maver - I thought I liked the joke and then proper guffawed at the vid. Its the way the tension builds once you realise what's coming. |

Caravan of Love
This Sunday's run to Spiders place will start at the Maidstone Services at 10 - 10.30 ish. After coffee and muffins and we'll be using one of my favourite stretches of road - the A20 to Charing then the A28 to Canterbury and a small stretch on the A2.
Later a visit to the Honda dealership near Lydden could well be in order. If it's dry the pace will be as brisk but as sensible as possible and everyone is welcome. C'mon you know you wanna. Bill X |

I can't come on Saturday as it is the day before I leave for university and have packing and document checking to do.
Could my best wishes be passed on. |

oooooh cock it.
I was only posting the other day how my exhaust seems in pretty good nick, compared to others. On the way home last night my dinky stock exhaust sounded like a flippin' Harley. So what is the recommended solution? (I know this has been discussed up-hills and down-dales) |
