New gasket is being fitted under warranty tomorrow 9.00am.
If it keeps going, I will keep getting it replaced under warranty, until I get fed up.

This is weekly West London MAG meeting - last week it was tipping down and I was the only one here. Luckily I had anticipated that so took the laptop - and managed to piece together an article for "The Road".

So brought the laptop again this week. Hmm.. had to inform mine Host that the Twickenham brewery 'Sundancer' had just 'gorn orf'. Shame, it was lovely yesterday, a beautifully hoppy ale. The replacement pint ('Tribute') has the faintest whiff to it as well. Drop of Harvey's for the next pint then.

Any plastic lighter should do the trick. Just need to make sure you're a smoker.
(Please don't take up smoking if you haven't already.)

As far as arty posters getting the women excited - you'll have to get them into your room first! Decks always seemed to be good "bait" from what I (hazily) remember. 8)

I was thinking about Gloss Protectant then Farecla Gold Top and then to top it Autoglym Super Resin or even Turtle Wax Ice when I invest in some.

I'll need the owners permission and knowing Genie she'll probably want to do it herself.

I can't wait to see it in the flesh .

If I have some spare cash over the Winter I'll have to get the Hornets panel painted the same guy.

What I didn't mention is that when I came back from holiday the ET4 didn't start...even though I've got wise to its tricks and had taken the battery out before I left so I could charge it up when I got home.

Started with a lot of fuss and bother when the nice breakdown man jumpstarted it and has had yet another new battery and spark plug.

I think it's safe to say I've gone from 'thinking about a replacement' to 'actively looking for a replacement'. I just can't go through another winter like the last one.

Two words. Valve clearances.

I rode Doug's ET last week. It is sweeeeeet.

The steering is light as a feather compared to the 300. You barely have to do anything to get around a corner!

Evening All,
My dinky stock exhaust no longer sounds harleyesque. A new gasket this morning fixed that. Dealer changed his mind and said it was a non-warranty repair, I laughed and ignored him, fortunatly he never mentioned it again and the experience only cost me £20.00 for some Vespa T-shirts that I seem addicted to.

All in all a good day.
