Have you lot decided what time you're gonna be at Duxford yet?
I will probably be coming down the A10 in the opposite direction.

I'm in Hackney, I can PM the address, or maybe meet up at the junction of Lordship lane and The Roundway, coming all the way to hackney looks like a bit of a mission on google maps. Let me know which is best for you.

I've just done the AA routefinder, from Hackney it estimates a journey time of 1hr 30mins, so with an arrival time of 11am, probably best to set off around 9am.

And the later run will start off about 9.40 ish I guess. Maybe a little later ?

Maybe it's best that you meet the 125 crue near the bottom of the M11 or a junction close by ?

Help me, my brain is melting due to imbibing alcohol and its not even 7 am.

I hate it when you wake up the morning after the night before and you are still drunk. Also, I left my dignity in a restaurant in Mayfair last night and will have to go back for it.

This is not just a hangover, this is a superbly crafted, freshly minted, Guinness Pilsner Champagne and Burgundy double barrelled, nails down a chalkboard hangover.

We'll it's 6.45 am and I am sitting opposite my PC with my front door open eating Banana Cake and drinking a hot cup of tea.
I'm just taking in the moment that is a lovely quite Saturday morning.
The only noise I can hear are the birds and a little bit of traffic.
It's a very simple thing to me but I do enjoy a bit of slience which is probably one of the reasons that I still live alone.

I've had a crappy week at work with alot of uncertainty but now things have been resolved and I'm alot happier so I'm just enjoying a nice little moment and I wanted to share.

hell air, hell air .... very sorry to hear about your brain kate but mine would be in rebellion too after an evening like that. i'm feeling disgustingly chirpy after an alcohol free nerdy night in mr. village has offered to ride to surrey with me this morning, thus i've decided to leave the laptop at home to lighten my topcase so we can have more fun in the corners

i'm bringing a good old fashioned pen and notebook and a wonderful book by carlo ginzberg called 'wooden eyes'.

Waking up drunk from the night before is often... lamentable.

I hate when this happens on gym mornings... M-w-f I go to the gym before work, and some Tuesdays or Thursdays involve stupid drinking and make for sloppy, painful bouts on the treadmill...

Genie, sorry to hear about your kitty, our last cat passed away a few years ago with hyperthyroidism and renal failure, so I can relate to the stress of having to give your cat a pill. The pet stores have a product called pill pockets. They are a very very tasty (to cats) piece of food with a pocket in the centre that you put the pill into and then give the cat. They do work, try them.

well, i was reluctant to move house but someone's locked me out of the other place

no hangover this morning (for a change) as i was out at my usual portobello haunt on thursday night and really dragged myself through the working day on friday.

had the estimate done on the damage to my scooter after my ramming incident. went to the place kate recommended and to my surprise the quote has come in at only £225. as my insurance excess is £250 i may just get it done and forget all about mr cum - who isn't answering his phone anyway. tosser.

it's my daughter's 8th birthday party today and she's looking all beautiful and grown up.

i'll just pop out to the offie and will be back in a jif...

Go on you know you want to, i'll be getting back from my Italy trip that day so plenty of 10 day old pizzas to be had....mmmmm better than a Pot Noodle me thinks.

Right I've just rung Duxford and 558 was right if we can get 10 of us or more we can all get in for £12.80 each so the more the merrier.

Spider update he came out of the operation at 1 am this morning and after losing lots of blood and them pumping alot more in then adding 50 screws and alot of plates he's done with.

Had a good ride down to Churt with Genie yesterday to her Uncle and Aunts place.
On the way down the A3 we saw a scooterist that had just been just been knocked off by a cager near Clapham then we saw another guy on a Primavera who had his young son/daughter on the back who was wearing nothing but shorts and a t shirt. Yeah I thought that as well.
Then after a comfort break at a petrol station we both jumped when a Rolls Royce roared into life with a huge bang and a huge plume of smoke.
The driver kept staring at us for some reason.
Then on to Guildford for a Kit Kat and a cuppa at greasy spoon full of good looking people and builder types.
As soon as it started to rain properly we jumped on the A31 to Farnham then on to Churt where I was treated really well by really lovely people with great food and coffee. It was very nice indeed.
After some polite conversation I made my excuses and rode home in the drizzle because I had a hot date.

More about that later.

So on the way home it rained rather alot and my bandanna became a little damp, so much so I was panting like a dog by the time I got to Clacketts because I couldn't breath through the material.
I could have taken it off but the feeling of rain bouncing off my face prevented me form doing that.
My new BNP helmet became very wet as well.

A ladyfriend of mine who I've known for about 9 months invited me over for dinner last night. At first I thought it was a good idea but then I realised there was an agenda because she'd been single for about 9 months and I could stay over if I wanted.
I got cold feet and cancelled. Some might say " what was I thinking ? " but my instincts were telling me that it was a really bad idea and I just had a feeling that I was being set up. Too obvious I thought.
I'm not saying that she was going to answer the door like Diane Keen in the Sweeney but the alarm bells were ringing.
She's really nice but I'm not convinced I'm ready for another relationship, no matter how short and being a very honest boy I told her exactly why I wasn't a good idea to visit.
I havn't really put the last one in context so I plan to spend the following months on my own doing lots of stuff I like trying and being with people whose company I enjoy and avoid dwelling on what went wrong.
That's the past and that's where it belongs.

What da fuck? I disappear for a couple weeks to close a show, audition for another (get cast in yet another, out of the blue, whatevs)...and not only does the old joint close down but I have to go looking for the new clubhouse?
