Hey hey you guys, I dreamed about us the other night! We all took our Vespas to a circuit for a Vespa race, and I leaned so hard in a corner that I got my elbow down! I was also beaten hollow by the red ET2 I often see on my commute.

I have those dreams that make me a surprise millionaire. Sadly they are never even halfway true.

i have dreams of flying a steampunk airplane over ruined cities of the future, with trees and vines growing out of crumbling skyscrapers and the remaining human population living in ramshackle huts at their base.

Talking of anime, have you watched the Daft Punk movie yet?

I am now armed with a vcr and a load of classic amime on video to watch. 8) (nerd and cool, not an oxymoron... hehe)

I didn't realize there was a Daft Punk movie... rather daft of me, I guess. My most recent viewing has been The Count of Monte Cristo given how much I enjoy Dumas. The animation is unique, but the story... well, it's always hard to be better than the book, Dumas or not. Speaking of VCR, that belongs with the crumbling city and vines, etc I've never been to Basingstoke, but Detroit comes to mind here in the US.

I went to a Ballard signing a few years ago and asked him what his favourite aeroplane was (quietly while I was getting my book signed; I was too shy to shout it into the mike next to all the people asking serious intellectual questions about his work).

The moon is lovely - but the full moon was 24hrs ago, slightly shrouded in wispy cloud here, but still very visible.

well it was spectacular this evening too. just out for a quick gallop around hackney downs and a spot of howling

tomorrow night is curry night at my local (£5.99 curry and a pint) and I will be there with a couple of my friends. Yes my life can be quite dull.

I have every weekend booked up for something until the end of the year with one thing or another. With the exception of next Sunday 15th November, so if anyone is considering another afternoon at the Pilot, I vote for the 15th (next Sunday)
