I hate Valentines day. I am pretty lucky that Sue hates valentines day too and we pretend it does not even exist, although that's really difficult, because people like to ask what are our plans for Valentines day. Which is fine. It just gets a bit awkward when we reply "fuck all".

Our wedding anniversary is the 18th so we've always ignored V-day. 2 romantic days 4 days apart is a lot of romantic wad to shoot, so to speak.

This year is our 15th anniversary, though, so we're sort of ignoring both days, since 1) I'll still be recovering from surgery, and 2) we're going to Maui in April as our belated celebratory trip, our first evah to Hawaii, blah blah. I'll be healed up enough by then enough to dunk my parts in the dirty ocean and wiggle my toes in a volcano. Aloha, mah bitches! 8)

wee kitty is really sick. she's going to the vet this evening to see what's up. she was diagnosed with renal failure earlier this year, and i'm not optimistic about the outcome. whatever the case, it looks as though i'm going to have to cancel the ski holiday that i was meant to leave for on saturday morning. i can't leave her to be looked after by neighbours when she's this unwell.
