I've already considered the obvious: riding it. However, that's not going to work.
So if it is to be moved from beautiful SoCal to hot/humid Phila.... how should I do it?

Find a shop with a Forward Air account. Motorsport? Despite the name, Forward Air is a trucking company. Without an account, it is expensive. With one, it will cost a few hundred dollars and take about 5 days.

There are several shippers that specialize in motorcycle shipping. If you go to e-bay and look at a scooter listing, there is a shipping tab that will bring up several shippers. Or try looking here http://www.uship.com/

New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Lafayette, I could go on and on but you get the picture. This will give new meaning to the weather terms hot and humid. |

Thanks for the info....
Sorry Buglake.... I got a 2 year old that's just a few months younger than the GT. In fact, he was born a week or so after my very first and (until now) only group ride with the meetup crew to Del Mar. Believe me, my time over the past couple years has been fun and busy since my last obsessive visits to ModVep. My scooter time has gone from pleasure/commute/utility to mostly commute/utility (though it's ALWAYS a pleasure). Believe me, leaving SD and all-year scooting is not an easy decision to make.
