i think they are all equally disgusting though recently i have been leaning towrads the 'southern fried chicken' flavour with the wee packet of tomato sauce tucked inside i especially enjoy the horribleness of the king-size pot noodle.

my partner doesn't approve of me eating them so let's keep this our little secret, hmm?

I've never had a pot noodle - for some reason I don't fancy them, whereas Batchelors Super Noodles are the food of the gods. I like bacon flavour.

"Pot Noodles" would mean something different here in the US. They'd have to pair it with a bag of cheetohs.

Jellied eels flavour pot noodles would be great. Or cupcake and mash.
Spam fritters flavoured pot noodles? Oh, I miss England...

Pot Noodles are like Cup a Noodle in the US, except they come in some flavors that would not be greatly appreciated here. I don't think Cup a Noodle is that popular; I think ramen noodles are more popular but more difficult to make (requires a pot).

I love how one of the brands of convenience, pre-packaged, processed food in England is called Batchelor. That's definitely British humor for ya

The first time I remember hearing about Pot Noodle was during an episode of The Young Ones, back in the eighties. I assumed it was similar to our Cup Noodle.

You Brits seem to have a much more exciting variety of flavors to choose from.

We don't have anything nearly as exotic as Bombay Badboy.

Ah, spam. We don't get that here. I picked up a tin of that when I was in the USA because I had seen it on Monty Python and stuff... Can't say I liked it. It was way too salty...Like taking a sip of the ocean.

I can't prove this but my old school friend Peter Thomas once told me that if you eat more than 3 Pot Noodles in a day your poo starts to turn green.

I'll just let that one hang.

But do you get little sachets of various sauces with every cardboard box you buy or obtain..........er no.
The REAL Pot Noodles have plenty of flavour, the cheap rip offs not so much.
I didnt think you would mostly be so anti-noodle, youll be getting them banned under the dangerous drugs act next.

with the amount of MSG and other artificial muck in them, I am surprised they have not been banned already!

ROFL emoticon Judy, if you ever make your way to Cincinnati, remind me to introduce you to goetta. Genie, you know what that is, eh?
We love our meat (by)products here in good ol' Porkopolis. We use everything but the squeal.

I like the very strong packaging for Pot Noodles. Don't think I've seen them here in Wisconsin. I must not get out much.

What about mayonaise?? I had pork rinds in a Mung bean filipino dish tonight. Gotta get around to adding spam to my Ramen noodles. PotNoodles sounds like some Humboldt county backwoods dish. I think I will go down to a store locally here that specializes in British foods and look for potnoodles!

I too was once of the thinking that chicken & mushroom with some buttered white bread (decent butter, crap bread) was the best, but I cried the first time I had a Bombay Bad Boy. Don't really have much call for Pot Noodles any more, which doesn't sadden me in the slightest.
