I was hooked on these cartoons as a kid. The biology one, and then there was one series about history, and one that took place in the future. I loved all of them.

This was also a big hit in iceland when I was a kid:

I don't know about it being underrated but The Wonder Years was one of the best and still holds up. The series was set during the years 1968-73 but aired from 1988-93.
