Hey guys I have one of my videos up on YouTube. It's just a nice easy cruise on the way down back into Orange County. No hard turns on this video but it's a nice one. But I'll have another one where we are heading up Ortega and I hit some turns pretty nice. It's much shorter but you get to see the full lean angle of it. Enjoy!

That seemed pretty reasonable.

-Gorillapod

-Apitek 720P HD Camera


Basically we just wrapped the gorillapod around a passanger peg of my friends R6 and aimed the camera backwards. It's got really sharp picture ya know. You can also pick up the 1080p version of my camera. The 720p is good enough for youtube and what not. I think I picked up my camera for $130 or something.

The Oregon Scientific won't have good picture quality as this one. Yea it may be a bit more compact but quailty for $99 not so good. Just fork out another $30-$40 and you can use this where ever you go. I usually keep it in my bag just incase something happens that I can record or take pics of.

Do you always ride with your feet up on the passenger foot rest?

I have a 33 inch inseam and it is a little cramped if I do that.

Haha sometimes I ride with my feet up there but mostly I have my feet at the bottom. It's just for me to have my feet in different positions.

I am amazed there is no "jiggle" in the video...The rider kept it smooth..
I have an Ultra Flip camcorder..little bitty thing, but it takes very good video for what it is....I just haven't managed to get it duct taped to someone or something....I'm very jealous...your video is super...well done and thanks for sharing....

No screen, full lean, feet on the passenger rests... the way the Fuoco was meant to be ridden! Superb vid, wish we had roads in the UK around me that come anywhere close to that. Although, looks like zero margin for error, those drops look scary! Look forward to seeing the full lean vid (I assume the one where you got your avatar from?)

No doubt they will bust you for the music ( just not the same without it).
Believe this or not, (NPR just the other day) you cannot even sing the "happy birthday" song without Nascap or whoever wanting a fee. Its sick when taken to that level. Making a profit on it has nothing to do with it.

Yea that was another camera mount. I have a POV camera that I placed on a RAM Mount.

Just watched the vid again, and I must say, the quality really is great. You can pick up some vibrations from the camera bike (to be expected), but nothing as savage as some of my own tests.

Been looking to get my own camera set up going, and this may just be the answer. Those Gorilla Pods are very versatile! Top job! 8) What's the battery life like? Looks compact enough to compromise battery life somewhat.

Just noticed - you guys drive on the correct side of the road for owning a bike. We can't really put a friendly hand up to other bikes as that is our throttle hand... we're limited to a simple nod instead which doesn't really work when riding past a group of bikes, unless you fancy looking like a woodpecker!

Mount with the gorillapod on a peg looks like it worked well for looking to the rear. I tried rigging a mount on my mirror for looking forward, but more vibration than I want. Considering mounting something to the panel behind the wind screen.

As for a camera you may not need to go buy one. I get great video from my Cannon Elph. Small and light and will take video until the memory card is full. I have done over a half hour. Resolution is 640 x 480. JerryW will be posting some I took on our Dragon trip a couple weeks ago. He has the edditing ability I don't.

yea with Fuzzy u really don't need to buy a camera cause now many cameras come with video recorder. The one I have is nice cause it films in wide screen and 720p. Not too bad. With it uploaded to YouTube it works out perfectly
