Plus I don't think they look that special... sort of short and dumpy. |

I like the way they look... and it does say "produced in association with AGV"... which is what they reminded me of.

Nice looking lid. Like the olive green colour.
I've have a AGV blade for the summer and it uses the ratchet chin strap design which works brilliantly. Easy and sturdy. |

Hey, we're all posers in one way or another. I'm not a diesel fan (nor the inflated price) but theres something for everybody.

While I see benefits of a 3/4 helmet, the fascination about such cut-off visors escapes me. I've been hit by enough bugs that either hurt like a sting or splattered all over my face, into my nose and squirted underneath my sunglasses, into my eye, that I want my nose and mouth COVERED.

Just kidding, I know what you mean. I wear a full face, and twice have rode through a swarm of bees. At that moment I wondered how I would have fared if I had been wearing a half shell or a 3/4 helmet? |

Diesel (AGV) 3/4 Helmets
Went over to Dainese yesterday in Newport Beach and we picked up one of these Diesel helmets. My gf drives a 2011 LXV in portfofino green and the brown looks perfect for this ride. White looked good too but the inside is also white and would get sweat stained driving in the summer.
Review: The helmet is not boxey or alian like but sleek and yes dare I say "trendy." It is made by AGV but licensed by Diesel. I know you are paying for the trendy name but it does look cool on the Vespa! Price was $240 but on sale for $200. We compared against the Vespa / Piaggio brand helmets and we liked this one a little better. I got the AGV Dragon helmet for only $40 bucks (matte black) to match my 2011 150S. There was a clearance section and found this gem for $100 off because the box was scratched (helmet is in perfect condition). Dainese is not a scooter store but they have a great selection of riding gear and a very knowledgable staff. And they have a Vespa in their window. http://www.diesel.com/lifestyle-helmets |

Very good. People made fun of them but i was waiting in a Diesel store while a friend tried on some clothes and found them. They seemed to be made quite well and did have that retro look. Enjoy your new helmet. They were pricey and you got a great deal. 8)

if the pads come out thats a plus. my AGV pads are glued in and I can't install my Chatterbox head set so I won't use it. Same goes for the Piaggio helmets.

I have bought the bronze one and it's really great for city riding. On the highway I prefer a full face helmet, but for everyday hopping around the town, these helmets are way too cool
And yes, I do not care about a little bit of posing, since I already bought a Vespa... |
