I rode this route down to St. Peter along the Minnesota River this morning. Great ride on mostly quiet back roads with plenty of scenery. I took the faster route back home along Highway 13, which has more traffic and is not nearly as scenic. The route along the river could definitely be ridden on a GT or even an LX/ET.

Yes, I know. I need to start taking pictures on my rides.

Looks like a cool ride. I don't venture much outside the twin cities. I was thinking of getting one of those motorcycle carrier things that mounts on your trailer hitch so I can transport my scooter to more rural areas for country road rides.

On Saturday I rode to the WI side of the river (crossed at Preston) and rode down Hwy 35. Tons of bikers (no scooterists at all!!!) Total 170 miles, great ride. Let's hear it for river rides!


But now my GT's acting wonky. I'll do some searching here for related articles or will be posting my symptoms soon.
