I have about 1,500 miles on my Vespa. Already had the 600mi oil change but am planning a long trip in three weeks where I'll likely put on another 1,800-2,000 miles until I get back.

I was planning on doing the oil change myself but am now wondering if that's overkill and I should just wait until I get back.

I should have around 3,500 miles on the bike by the time I get back.

Thoughts?
