got a great deal at Red Wing for these boots (model 1668) for $109!

Old tour master boots were comfortable and great protective around the ankle, but I felt I needed something with more grip- and butch factor.

Pleeeze let us ladies know how ya like 'em. I have tourmasters now that are being raised in the heel/sole because of the protection they provide. But I've been investigating other booties too....and the pair you got was one of them.
Say, how high is that heel? And grip power.....good?

the Red Wing heel is 1 1/4 ", which took a bit getting used to since the Tourmasters have no heel at all. My ankles are covered in the new Red Wing, but I feel a little naked as they don't have the added "protection' over the ankle like the Tourmasters.

So far, I like them a lot, and I couldn't beat the price. I have 2 of everything; boots, gloves, helmets, jackets... but only 1 scooter

Thanks. Sadly I still need a higher heel than that and they are sooo nice lookin'. You should get another scoot so TWO of Everything is easier 4 you to say......and more fun "2"

Bought these...not bad...little stiff initially...good ankel support via cinching up laces at ankles...covers ankle bone...clip keeps laces secured. Heels are standard. Two colors black and tan.
