Modern Vespa

a friend bought gt200 about three weeks ago and I went up to OKC on my way to NYC... I went get it and rode to my friend's house to keep it in his garage in Norman south of OKC by i-35.. want to know if someone can ride it to austin from there.. he will pay you.. I have no time to do that for him and I have a wakeboard competition coming up next weekend

I could do this next weekend. I been looking for a reason for a big trip and what better way than on someone else's bike (I mean that only in the spirit of not wearing out my own tires and such). Send me a pm and I will let you know what my schedule is like.

Thumbs up on U-Ship. You put up an ad with info on what you want shipped, from and to locations, and time frames, and shippers come back with bids.

I shipped my GT200 across the country through them for $400. I got a lower bid than than I found anywhere else - even from some other UShip providers - because I wasn't in a hurry and the guy I chose could use my scooter as a fill-in on a trip he already had planned.

Still, if I had the time I'd volunteer!

If it's only 400 miles why doesn't your friend just take a weekend off and go for a nice ride?

that cuts it down to 188 miles, but that's still like, three and a half hours on the road, one way. sorry, man.

There's a chance I could "swing wide" on my return from an upcoming business trip to Denver to do this. (That's what "open jaw" tickets are for...fly into one place, fly out of another!) This would be a great adventure!

The only problem is that it would need to be at the very end of the month and I expect you'll find a volunteer before then. Also, I would need to lock it in before I make my travel reservations later this week.

i would do it too if it weren't for all these damned cases I have (plea offer, trial, plea plea misery)...however I would go to OKC and check out the places The Flaming LIps hang out.

He just text me and said that he is going to pick it up this weekend finally.. He is just so busy with school and I kind of not understand why can't do it on a day.. Give his paperwork and keys to get it before my friend is getting too crazy having vespa in his garage :-/
