So far the Morphous takes the lead in cruising on city streets. The seating position is so much more comfortable. The MP3 is better on the freeway, eating up the horrible freeway surface without any issues and having a better top end. I took the Morphous up to about 75-80, which is about what I take the MP3 up and the MP3 feels a lot safer and of course the MP3 is king in bad weather. I still love my MP3, but the overall lack of aftermarket parts is a real bummer. The Morphous has a huge aftermarket parts catalog from Japan, so I'm gonna have fun modding the crap out of it like I've done with the Ruckus.

I may be the only one to say that I love it! In my eyes the Morphous is just way too cool. I wish they would have been sold in Canada.

It's a sad reflection on the North American scooter market. The Morphous only lasted two years in the US, people here just weren't receptive/open to it. It was a close call when I was shopping for my first big scoot, I wanted a Morphous, but ultimately went with the MP3 so that I could have a safer ride for me and the wife.

It feels like one too, real smooth ride on city streets and you sit with your feet up in the air, real relaxed. Some people in Japan have even added fins

Ya when the Morf first came out everyone thought it would be a hit till they found out it was only a 250cc. If it had a 400 or 500 cc engine I think it would still be sold here.
By the way, they are really cheap to buy now.

Spoon-K.......Congrats on the new scoot! Don't bump the car out....just move and get a bigger garage for MORE toys!
Now I have to say, I love your ruckus! Can you post a pic or two of that? What cc is it...150? What all did you do to it? Scale of 1-10....how much do YOU love it and why? It sits low right...like 26" or......
Sorry 'bout all the ????? the rukus (especially the one with the backrest that pops up)....always catches my eye. This one is a tease.

Hey Spoonkiller, how does the Morphous perform compared to the MP3 250?

HAHA, I have a feeling my $2900 is safer converted into a scooter in my garage than as an IOU in the bank Laughing emoticon

Cars are evil! I feel bad for my wife's car, I'm pretty sure (hope and encourage) that the scoots harass and tease it when I turn off the lights in the garage Laughing emoticon

If I could only save one scoot in a proverbial fire, it would be the Ruckus. It's only got a little 4 stroke water cooled 50cc, good for about 48mph on flat and that's after a cam and bigger carb. There are a ton of swap options if you want more power, but I'm kind of a purist in that area and choose to stay with the motor Honda picked. The Ruckus with the backrest is the Big Ruckus, which is a 250 and is sadly no longer sold in the US! Back to my little Ruckus, it's by far the most challenging and rewarding to ride, it's hard/challenging out there when you're underpowered, so you have to put your entire focus into trying to manage your momentum and look for opportunities to stay with the flow of 50-60mph traffic when your top speed on flats is 48mph Laughing emoticon Of course you could opt to just stay on regular streets and use it as it was intended to just cruise around town.
Best of all you can customize it any way you want, the possibilities are almost endless.
