150 S Crash bar and rear rack

I have a new 150 S and like the Faco rear rack because it adds
a handrail and leaves the Vespa S logo on the back.
BUT, I would like a rear crash bar also. WILL THE FACO SINGLE BAR REAR CRASH BAR GIVE ANY SIGNIFICANT HELP IN A TIP OVER, ETC, TO PROTECT REAR COWL?
It looks like the Piaggio rear crash bar wont work with Faco rear rack---and it is twice as expepesve as Faco.
I would like to know what you have done in this situation. Advice appreciated.
