how hard is it to change the starter relay on a 2001 et2...is it easy to get to and what tools will i need...i know this is the problem...thanks

very easy. All you need is a phillips screwdriver to get under the battery cover. I'm pretty sure it's next to the battery on the et2, but it maybe attached to the frame brace (right side?) under the helmet well. I don't remember exactly where it is on the et2 since it's been a while since I changed one, but they are a plug-unit. Just look at the relays. It will be the only 80 amp relay.
