Guys,

So I sorted out the bleepin' horn snafu. Short of a total rewire, I ripped out every connection and retraced each @^%^ wire. Someone went to town on it previously and had cut and rewired almost everything to the point that some wires had colors like the rainbow down the lenght. I forgot to take pictures before I ripped it one, to my regret it made it even more confusing without a picture reference.

I am almost done except for the last bit, and I am a tad confused by the light/horn switch. It doesn't look like your typical switch. I thought it was until things got funky and I checked online for pics.

See the pic, top is the typical switch, bottom is my switch. The missing connector marked "M" is for the kill switch, not needed on the ET3. There is a missing bridge from the normally closed horn connector to the high/low beam connector.

How do you wire this one up? Is this the correct ET3 switch? Jimmy?

uhm, so does anyone know which scoot used the switch (the one without the bridge connection) in the bottom pic?

Just so I can look for a wiring diagram for that and compare?

Eric, any idea?

So...if i had to guess, i'd think one of those switches is for NON battery operation, and one is for battery operation.

The bridge in the one runs from the horn button to the ground plane. I believe this is for a NON battery one.

In the other, the horn is isolated, so pushind the button doesn't ground it out ...it breaks the current which is regularly going through it, i believe... which is for a battery setup.

Guessing...but that's my guess. You could find out pretty quickly if you hooked it up. In one, the horn would be always ON, until you hit the button ...and in the other it would be normal operation, i believe.
